Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Check My Sitemap (checkmysitemap.com). By using the service you agree to them.

The service

Check My Sitemap reads a website's sitemap, fetches the pages it lists, and produces a technical SEO report. The first 100 pages of each audit are free; the full report for an audit can be unlocked with a one-off payment.

Your account

You sign in with a Google account. You're responsible for activity under your account. Reports are private to the account that created them.

Acceptable use

• Only submit websites you own, manage, or have a legitimate reason to audit.
• Don't use the service to overload, attack or disrupt any website, or to get around our usage limits.
• Don't attempt to access other users' reports or interfere with the service.

Our crawler follows robots.txt, limits its request rate, and identifies itself. We may suspend accounts that misuse the service.

Payments

Unlocking a full report is a one-off payment of $2.50 per audit, processed securely by Stripe. There is no subscription. If a paid report isn't delivered because of a problem on our side, contact us and we'll refund you.

No guarantees

Reports reflect what our crawler saw at the time of the audit and are provided for information. We work to keep them accurate, but we don't guarantee them, and we can't promise any particular search ranking or traffic outcome.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for the audit concerned. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be excluded by law.

Changes and termination

We may update these terms or the service from time to time; the date above shows the latest version. You can stop using the service at any time.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland.
